Os re- sultados dos produtos brasileiros foram ainda menos positivos, com 92% dos produtos de K2 desprotegida + K2 MK-7 Misturada com Dicitrato de Trimagnésio Anidro K2VITAL® DELTA K2 Não Encapsulada (MCC) minerais falhando na reivindicação de rótulo. A Kappa Bioscience e sua vitamina K2VITAL® DELTA estão disponíveis para empresas brasileiras através da RJR Nutrientes e Farmoquímicos Ltda. K2 MK-7 Misturada com Óxido de Magnésio K2 Não Encapsulada (MCC)    Os desvios significativos da alegação do rótulo nas formulações com magnésio se devem à alta alcalinidade deste mineral. Para ilustrar, a Kappa realizou testes de es- tabilidade prolongada com K2 e magnésio. K2VITAL® DELTA e também uma K2 de alta pureza sem microencapsulamento (99,5% de pureza da MK-7 totalmente trans) foram misturados com óxido de magnésio e dicitrato de trimagnésio anidro. Apenas K2VITAL® DELTA foi estável por 9 meses. A K2 igualmente pura, mas não protegida, se degrada rapidamente com o óxido de magnésio.
